The jammu and kashmir police said that it arrested three persons for spreading fake news via Facebook.
In a statement, police said, police station Shaltang has arrested three persons for uploading the fake news on Facebook regarding the marriage ceremony of a girl from Panzinara Srinagar by claiming that she is about 21 years and the groom is about 44 years and the Mehr in the marriage was fixed at 2 crores and 90 lakhs and a luxury car was also given to the bride's family as a gift.
